I think this place suits someone best who enjoys living quietly and independently, but is also open to a warm and pleasant atmosphere at home. Humor, mutual respect, and a positive attitude mean a lot to me. Getting along well with children, taking care of the home, and respecting each other's space simply make living together extra pleasant. I also live very ecologically and economically. Making optimal use of solar energy thanks to our solar panels, sorting waste properly, and the like are important to us. How to do that? I would certainly love to teach you! :) Because I used to smoke myself, I have become quite sensitive to the smell of tobacco. A fresh and smoke-free living environment is therefore important to me. Vaping is allowed outside, though. I also love people who are mindful of their environment and value sustainability, although for me, it is mainly an open and respectful attitude that makes the difference 😊 And a little bonus for animal lovers: we are open to animals that are, of course, cat-sweet. This is a must! 🐈

Hi! I am Melissa and I am 30 years old 👋 You will be living with Tapani (Thai woman, 34 years old), myself, and my two sweet children (3 and 10 years old) in a 50/50 co-parenting arrangement. Tapani has been living with us since August 1st and we make a lovely family! We are into spiritual openness, yoga, humor, love, open communication, and respect. I work full-time as a language teacher (we are trilingual: FR, NL, EN) for adults and work outside the home during the day. Outside of work, my time mainly revolves around my children, continuously striving to improve myself with a focus on mental and physical well-being, nature, etc. As a person, I am spontaneous, warm, and caring. I value genuine connections, respect, and trying to do good for the people around me. I am quite sensitive and observant of what is going on with others. Humor plays a big role in my life — even second- and third-degree humor can certainly make me laugh! I am very open-minded and actually enjoy getting to know people with different stories, interests, and perspectives. When the children aren't around, I like to get away in the evening. Sitting still isn't really my strong suit 😉 After a busy day, I love a calm, relaxed atmosphere to catch my breath. A home that feels like a nice, warm place is important to me. During longer periods of time off, I enjoy my rooftop tent and love going on road trips to discover new places, always heading out into nature!

The atmosphere I envision is rather calm, relaxed, cheerful, and positive, where everyone has plenty of personal space. There is no obligation to do activities together, but we are not afraid of spontaneous moments such as having a coffee, having a chat, Netflix nights, or eating together. Your family, friends, etc., are certainly welcome for a BBQ or a game of darts as well. 😊
