This authentic and characterful house combines the charm of authenticity with modern comfort and contemporary standards, situated in a quiet area near Brussels via NMBS Ruisbroek train station (7 min. to Brussels South), MIVB bus 50, or De Lijn bus. Suitable for quiet individuals out of respect for all other housemates. Furthermore, the house features a cozy living room with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen on each floor; a large terrace; and a beautiful garden on the ground floor. The rent and common costs (water, gas, electricity, heating, maintenance of common areas and garden, etc.) are divided fairly. You pay €450 in rent and €150 per month for a mix of fixed and variable costs based on consumption, via invoices.
You will be officially added to the tenancy agreement.
Personal space
The rooms are between 20 and 25 m² in size and unfurnished. You can furnish them according to your own taste and wishes. There is still 1 room available on the ground floor with a view of the garden, and 2 rooms on the first floor, both with a view of the garden. There is enough space for a large bed, wardrobes, and a cozy seating area. You share the bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, and sink with two other housemates. Additional storage space can be found in the basement.
Furthermore, on each floor, the house features a cozy living room with a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a large terrace, and a beautiful garden on the ground floor.

We are looking for someone who
We are looking for people who want to live here for the long term and truly feel at home. You will share the house with a number of quiet adults or retirees. Preferably over 40. Non-smokers. No dogs. You feel involved with the house and take joint responsibility for the common areas. Our co-housing project has a social yet quiet character. You can live together in the living room. At the same time, there is full respect for privacy and me-time in the private rooms. There is an open and respectful atmosphere where everyone can be themselves. LGBTQ friendly.

From next month, Erwin (53 years old) and Danielle (61 years old) (a couple) will be living in one room on the ground floor. They own a chalet where they often stay, so they will not be present in the house as often. They are an older couple, sociable, and enjoy peace and quiet on the terrace, a pleasant chat, etc.

Within a 5-minute walk, you are at the NMBS Ruisbroek train station (7 min. to Brussels South or Halle) and at various bus stops, MIVB bus 50 or De Lijn, and by bike you are in the center of Brussels or the center of Halle in 15 minutes (along the Brussels-Charleroi Canal).
