We are looking for someone who

I think someone over 40 will feel more at home than a young person, but everything is open for discussion. A quiet yet social person. Preferably someone who lives life consciously. I would like someone who loves people and is caring towards each other and the house. (maintenance tasks will be divided) Someone who enjoys gardening would be very welcome. (possibly also extra work in the organic community garden in Deurne) Someone who likes to be creative with healthy food and conjures up delicious meals is certainly welcome.

Sien: quiet, sensitive retired woman, is creative, e.g., devising and trying out recipes for healthy meals (she is a flexitarian), lives consciously, finds meaning and open communication important, is social and loves socializing, is warm-hearted, and enjoys meeting new people of all ages. She has been in a relationship with Norbert for a year and alternates between being with her partner and him with her. He is incredibly good at DIY and also loves gardening. These things we like to do togther

I call it family living together; coziness is key in our home, and cooking together and sharing a meal at the table is always very welcome. In the summer, it is wonderful to eat together in the garden and enjoy the barbecue. Helping out in the garden is always very welcome (I recently even rented an extra plot for a vegetable garden near Deurne, where Norbert and I enjoy working). Watching a movie together, taking a walk or bike ride in the neighborhood, going on a trip to Antwerp or further afield, shopping together, etc., is always more fun with two than alone. We are creative flexitarians; our meals are always surprising, but you can of course choose not to eat together. Or cook for yourself every now and then. (Good agreements are important here, of course.)

Contract by mutual agreement with a 3-month trial period. Subsequently, cancellable annually with 3 months' notice. Room price 480 euros + 150 euros fixed costs = 630 euros total Fixed costs may fluctuate depending on energy price increases, etc. (via open discussion, there is regular insight into bills and the progress of the co-housing)
