For our cozy spot in rural Scheldewindeke, we are looking for a new housemate who shares a passion for animals and might even bring along a cuddle bug. The House • We share the partially renovated kitchen (dishwasher, yay!), bathroom, small living room on the ground floor, and attic. The attic is currently a ‘work in progress’ but is being furnished as a spacious living room, dining area with a view of the fields, and hobby room. • In the garden, it is wonderful to sunbathe throughout the day, and we can enjoy a cozy campfire in the evening. If you have a green thumb in development just like me, we can also make the vegetable garden flourish together into a true eating paradise 😊 • The garden borders right next to the meadow and barn that are home to a pony and a horse. Behind the barn is an open, multifunctional lawn. Location Rural living without being completely isolated: the station, shops, and amenities are within short cycling or walking distance. E40 on-ramp at 4.5 km.
Personal space
2 bedrooms: you get the largest one. It could use a fresh coat of paint, but I’m happy to help with that! The room is available from September 1st for €540 per month + €137 utilities. (Half of a 3-month security deposit and fire insurance are added to this). For this, you get a fully furnished house (with the exception of your own room) and the opportunity to give your two-, four-, or no-footed pet a home.
