The house is located on a very quiet street (residential area) in Mortsel.
I live on the ground floor myself and also use the 2nd floor as a bedroom and guest room.
The 1st floor is rented out as a studio. It contains 2 spacious rooms, a small dressing room/storage room, and a large bathroom. This bathroom is shared with me (the homeowner).
The front garden is landscaped as an edible garden. This is an outdoor space that can be used; it is on the south side and there is a bench.
Personal space
The 2 rooms on the 1st floor are very spacious, bright, beautiful, and furnished in a contemporary style.
Room 1 = bedroom with: double bed, bedside table, built-in wardrobe, and large mirror
Room 2 = Kitchen/living room: Fitted kitchenette with 2 hotplates, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kitchen utensils (cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, etc.), sofa, side tables, table/desk, chairs, cupboard
Adjacent to the living room is a storage room with cupboards that can also be used as an extra dressing room.
What can you expect in terms of cleanliness?
A structured, well-organized and clean place.

We are looking for someone who
I am looking for a quiet person seeking temporary accommodation, as registering your domicile is not permitted. For example, a student for an academic year, or someone seeking temporary housing due to renovations or a divorce. You are an open person who enjoys having a chat every now and then when we run into each other in the hallway. You do not isolate yourself from your fellow residents. You are considerate of others regarding noise.
Although you have a private kitchenette and living space, we can cook or eat together occasionally.
You love cats, as Milly the house cat will certainly visit regularly.
I am away from home for a weekend now and then; it would be nice if you could perhaps feed the cat during those times.

Something more about your co-residents
I am a social person, interested in my fellow residents. However, I also value my peace and privacy. I exercise regularly (swimming and padel); I have lived in the house for 10 years. It is too big, and I would like a bit more life or activity in the house, which is why I started co-housing.
Once a month, a teenage girl comes to stay over for the weekend. I am adventurous and sporty and enjoy going away for weekends in my camper van. I do enjoy deep conversations, but laughter and having fun certainly have their place too.
I am more of a morning person; I go to bed early and wake up early.
These things we like to do togther
There is a quiet atmosphere in the house; shared activities are not a must but are certainly possible. Everyone has their own living area. The bathroom, located on the first floor, is shared, so agreements simply need to be made regarding its use, depending on each person's living or working style. Cooking and eating together occasionally, or playing a board game, having a chat, or watching a movie are certainly possible.
