Something more about your co-residents
I am 34 years old and a youth and educational worker. In my free time, you can find me behind the sewing machine, on my yoga mat, or on the sofa with a good book. I regularly need rest, but at the same time, I am a real people person. I love cooking together, sitting on a sunny terrace, or having friends over. Additionally, I am a true travel enthusiast who loves hiking in the mountains.
You will be sharing the apartment not only with me, but also with Frangipane 🐱. She is the sweetest old cat who loves cuddles!
These things we like to do togther
A cozy, relaxed atmosphere prevails here. Don't expect hyper-social hustle and bustle, but a real home where you can unwind completely after a busy day. Everyone can and is allowed to be completely themselves here.
Although serenity is the foundation, I certainly love a bit of life; the door is always open for visitors. I thoroughly enjoy it when the apartment fills with the aroma of delicious food and the cheerful chatter of friends.
That love for character is also reflected in the interior: a unique mix of second-hand furniture and vintage finds with their own story. Moreover, because all the rooms are wonderfully light and sunny, you spontaneously get an instant feeling of happiness here.
In short: the ideal match is an open-minded housemate who loves a calm flow with room for spontaneous fun!
We share the extra costs for electricity and heating according to actual consumption. Fire insurance and internet come to €22 per person.

Interesting places nearby
It is both pleasant and practical here, as both the center of Kontich Village and that of Kontich-Kazerne are within easy reach. You never have to go far to discover a nice café or restaurant. You will even find a few real culinary gems here. There is no shortage of supermarkets either, all accessible by bicycle.
There are many opportunities for sports: there is a sports complex with a swimming pool and sports fields, and I myself, for example, take yoga classes nearby. An added bonus is the various cycling and walking routes that pass through here. For lovers of greenery and gardening: Kontich has its own pick-your-own farm for vegetables and flowers.

Getting around here is a dream. Car, bus, train, or bike? It’s all possible. There is free parking right outside the door, the cycle path is around the corner, and the train station is barely a 4-minute walk away.
