Welcome to Bernheimbeuk – a peaceful home amidst greenery, a cozy semi-detached house surrounded by old, stately beech trees. The property features a large garden with a terrace as well as a sunny front terrace – perfect for enjoying peace and nature, yet not far from the city. The house consists of three floors. On the ground floor, you will find the open-plan living space and kitchen, which flow into one another, and a toilet. There is a spacious terrace at both the front and the back, with a view of the greenery at the rear. On the first floor are my bedroom, office, and small sitting area, as well as the bathroom, equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. The room I am renting out is located on the second floor. It is a spacious and bright room with sufficient privacy. Adjacent to the room is my storage room, where the dryer is located, among other things. So, very occasionally I will have to go through there, but naturally, this will be done in consultation. What we share: the kitchen and living space on the ground floor the garden and both terraces bathroom (shower, bath, sink, toilet) separate toilet washing machine and dryer You will be living here with me (I am a yoga teacher and work partly from home), in a quiet and respectful atmosphere. I am looking for someone who also appreciates a pleasant, tidy environment, and enjoys living together in a peaceful way – with sufficient space for everyone's own rhythm and life.
Personal space
The room is located on the second floor, under the roof, and is spacious and bright thanks to two windows overlooking the trees – here you literally wake up surrounded by greenery. It features a wooden floor, and the high ceiling creates an open feel. The room is furnished with a double bed, desk, clothes rack, and wardrobe – ready to move into. Thanks to its location under the roof, the room remains surprisingly cool in the summer. Because the house is largely built of wood, you do sometimes hear some noises (such as creaking floors or someone talking loudly), but that is part of the charm of a wooden home. The room adjoins my storage room, where the dryer is located. Very occasionally, I have to go through there to get something or for laundry – this is always done with respect and consultation.
