We're looking for two new roommates for our house on Staakskenstraat. I bought this house in 2019 and have been co-housing there ever since. Due to renovations, it's currently just my girlfriend Shreya and me living here, along with our two four-legged friends, Clovis and Artemis (as much as we love animals, we unfortunately can't accommodate any additional pets at this time). The house is located on Staakskenstraat, just 3 km from the city center, easily accessible by bike via the Coupure. Ghent-Sint-Pieters station is only a 10-minute bus ride away, which stops on our street.
Personal space
We are in the final stages of renovations, so the ground floor won't be ready until March. The living room will retain the same layout, so the photos are from before and during the renovation. The photos of the bedrooms are also from before the renovation, as they are currently serving as our temporary living room and kitchen. There are two rooms available. Room 1 is furnished and has a wardrobe, double bed, and desk (the photo with the floor-to-ceiling window). Room 2 is unfurnished, located on the second floor, is the largest room in the house, and can be decorated entirely to your own taste. The other living areas are shared. The house has a washing machine and dishwasher. There is a spacious kitchen and living room, a basement with a freezer, and additional storage space. We also have a garden with a covered terrace and fire pit.
