I'm looking for a new co-houser in Deinze because my current roommate is leaving. The house is spacious and conveniently located, a 5-minute drive from the E17 motorway.
What's included:
- 2 parking spaces in front of the door (one for each, and a visitor's parking lot is a 2-minute walk away).
- Shared garage with space for bicycles/storage.
- 2 toilets, a shower, and a bath
- 3 bedrooms + a spacious attic
- Small terrace with a garden (needs some work, but has potential)
- The kitchen/living room are mostly empty, so there's room to bring your own furniture.
The available room:
- You'll have the ground floor room and living room entirely to yourself.
- I only use the downstairs kitchen and bathroom, so I only occasionally visit the living room.
- I spend most of my time in my room and bedroom on the first floor.
Personal space
Your room has ample space for a bed, a wardrobe, and perhaps a small desk, though you'll have more than enough room for that in the living room. Thanks to the roller shutters, you can completely darken the room, ideal for a good night's sleep. There's also a built-in closet housing the utilities (water meter, Wi-Fi, and electricity box), but it doesn't take up all the space and provides extra storage.

I'm looking for someone who is independent and does their own thing. Ideally, you're a working young adult or a final-year student looking for a quiet and stable place to live. Tidiness and respect for each other's space are important to me. While it's certainly okay for the house to be lively, I appreciate it if it stays quiet in the evenings, especially during the workweek.
It's no problem if you'd like to bring your own furniture and ambiance; there's plenty of room to make the house cozy together. If you're handy or willing to contribute ideas for the garden or small improvements, that's a plus, but certainly not required.

I (30M) am a calm and thoughtful, somewhat introverted person who values a relaxed and respectful atmosphere at home. In my free time, I enjoy being creative: painting, drawing, gaming, and board and card games are regular activities. I spend a lot of time on my hobbies and am therefore often at home, but usually in my room on the first floor where my desk is located.
I work full-time as a teacher and enjoy a stable, quiet living environment. During the week, I live a fairly structured life and enjoy the quiet of the house in the evenings. I'm not someone who wants to be together all the time, but I do enjoy chatting or sharing a game every now and then. In short: I prefer to be by myself.
I rarely have visitors, but my girlfriend comes over regularly on weekends.

Currently, the monthly costs per person are approximately €650, including water, gas, electricity, and internet. Sometimes there's a little extra, sometimes a little less. The standard rule is to simply split the stick in half.
