We are looking for someone who

A calm person, with or without a disability, who can live independently and socialize with some support. Willingness to cooperate with housemates and to take on family help and/or household tasks is essential. This is done in consultation with the client and according to their own abilities and preferences.

Something more about your co-residents

The two residents, who have normal to high intelligence, have autism and therefore have a low income. The oldest works part-time as an IT employee at a school. The youngest doesn't work; he enjoys participating in activities at "Wonderweg" in Wilrijk. He enjoys cycling and walking frequently. Both are very calm and easygoing.

These things we like to do togther

The atmosphere is very friendly. The two residents have their own activities but also spend considerable time together. The shared, hot evening meal creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The weekly family helper contributes to the practical organization, including: creating a weekly menu, planning and running errands, helping with organizing the private room, and helping with laundry. Residents receive support from their parent(s) as needed. Monthly meetings foster a strong bond between residents.
