Common parts
This ecologically renovated house "in the woods" is a place to unwind. Nestled among 300-year-old trees in a region with a remarkable number of old trees. Badgers, foxes, deer, squirrels, owls, ravens, red kites, and more can be seen from your window. A prime hiking and cycling area! Within walking distance of Val-Dieu Abbey. Shared facilities include a laundry room with a washing machine and an entrance.
Personal space
Independent studio with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a small bathroom, and a private storage room. Natural materials (clay, wood, and natural stone). Low radiation and quiet. The garden is adjacent to the studio.

We are looking for someone who
Someone who is independent but also respects nature and the surrounding area.
Someone who consciously enjoys nature and their living environment (nature conservation). Because we already have two cats, we prefer someone without pets or with animals that can easily adapt to two cats.

Something more about your co-residents
I'm a tree and forest expert, increasingly holistic. I love (good) movies, reading, walking, jogging, and history. I'm a vegetarian. My son is 12 and lives with his dad part-time. When he's around, things get a bit more lively because he loves soccer. On the other side of the shared entrance is a workshop space where I occasionally lead workshops (a maximum of a few days a month and for small groups).
These things we like to do togther
In principle, little contact is required, but it's always welcome to occasionally cook and eat together, or to do some gardening together, for example. In my experience, it's better to let things unfold spontaneously rather than having excessive expectations. It's already great that you can knock on the door for an egg, some flour, or a word of encouragement.
