Hello there, fellow human being! :) My name is Maïté, and I'm looking for a new roommate starting in January 2026. Our home is a sunny, fully furnished first-floor apartment with a large terrace overlooking a garden with mature trees. We're located north of Ghent Sint-Pieters, about a 10-minute walk from the train station. The rent, including all costs (utilities, insurance, internet, etc.), is approximately €625. The rent increases annually by approximately €10-€20, depending on indexation. A washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, freezer, etc. are all included. I work from home during the week, Monday through Thursday afternoon, and sometimes need quiet time for meetings during those times. I already work remotely at least one day a week and one week a month. There's a garage for bicycles and a spacious basement where the washing machine, dryer, and freezer are located. Regarding the administrative side: you must be able to provide a few pay stubs and register your address here. P.S. Cat(s) are very welcome, provided they have access to the outdoors. The cat in the photos is unfortunately not included.
Personal space
The room overlooks a quiet street and is being repainted. My current roommate is selling her bed and mattress in excellent condition, if you're interested.
