The house is located on a very quiet residential street in Mortsel.
I live on the ground floor and second floor with my cat, Milly.
The first floor is rented as a studio apartment. It has two spacious rooms, a small dressing/storage room, and a large bathroom that I share with myself (the owner of the house).
The front garden has recently been landscaped as an edible garden. This is a shared outdoor space that can be used; it faces south and has a bench.
Personal space
The two bedrooms on the first floor are very spacious, bright, beautifully furnished, and contemporary.
Bedroom: Bed, bedside table, duvets, and pillows
Kitchen/living room: Equipped kitchenette with two hotplates, microwave, kitchen utensils (cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, etc.), sofa, side tables, desk/table, chairs, and a cupboard
Adjacent to the living room is a dressing/storage area with cupboards.
What can you expect in terms of cleanliness?
A structured, well-organized and clean place.

We are looking for someone who
I'm looking for a quiet person who needs temporary housing because residential living isn't permitted. For example, a student for one academic year, a single woman looking for temporary housing due to renovations or a divorce. You're an open person who enjoys chatting occasionally when we run into each other in the hallway. You're not isolated from the other residents and are considerate of others regarding noise.
Although you have a private kitchenette and living space, we can occasionally cook/eat together. Or if you're musically inclined, the piano can be used occasionally; it's in my private living space, so this is by mutual agreement.
You like cats, because Milly the house cat will definitely be visiting regularly.
I'm away from home for the weekends occasionally, so it would be nice if you could feed the cat then.
I'm away from home for the weekends myself, so it would be great if you could feed the cat then.

Something more about your co-residents
I'm a sociable person, interested in my fellow residents. I also value my peace and quiet and privacy. I exercise regularly (swimming and paddle tennis). I've lived in the house for 10 years, but I've been living alone for a year now. It's too big, and I'd like a bit more activity and movement in the house.
Once a month, a teenage girl comes to stay for the weekend. I'm adventurous and sporty and enjoy weekend getaways in my campervan. I enjoy deep conversation, but laughter and fun definitely have their place too.
I'm more of a morning person; I go to bed early and wake up early.
These things we like to do togther
The house has a peaceful atmosphere. Since it's opening its doors to co-housing for the first time, arrangements still need to be made regarding shared activities. Everyone has their own living area. The bathroom, located on the first floor, is shared, and agreements need to be made regarding its use. Occasionally cooking and eating together, playing a board game, chatting, or watching a movie are certainly possible.

Close to the center of Mortsel, within walking distance of a bakery, butcher, supermarket, bank, cafes, and more. There's a lively weekly market on Wednesday mornings.
The street has recently been redesigned and is the first garden street in Mortsel, boasting plenty of greenery and trees. It's a one-way street, so only residents pass through.
