The room measures 23m2, all furniture is present: double bed, very spacious and practical wardrobe, own desk, office chair, large sofa with cushions (this sofa is not in the photos), carpet, .... If desired, something small can be removed and placed in the basement, except for the bed, wardrobe and the large sofa. There is parquet throughout the room and the room opens onto our quiet one-way street. Beautiful, spacious light - 4 windows - and sunny. There is hardly any vis-à-vis (in the house of our neighbors across the street, who are few in number, the windows are always kept shuttered). There is strong, unlimited WiFi throughout the house.
Next to the room is the bathroom, shared with 2 people. There is a bath and shower and plenty of space for personal hygiene items and towels. Each resident has a private sink. There is also a toilet on the same floor (shared between 2 people). Each room is cleaned biweekly by our Polish cleaning lady Bozhena. She does all communal areas + 2 rooms every week; She will do the other 2 rooms the following week.
Common parts
The room is located on the 2nd floor in a house of 250 m2, where a maximum of 4 people live (there are 4 rooms, 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms). The shared kitchen of 40 m2 is hyper-equipped. There is a garden of 60 m2 (east-oriented, ideal for a sunny breakfast, for example) with a stone terrace, a modern, comfortable patio table and a barbecue in the summer. The many plants and flowers inside and outside are taken care of. If you have green fingers, you can always help. The shared basement measures 25 m2, where a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron and various drying racks are available; You can feel free to take a drying rack to the room for privacy. There is also sufficient storage space in the basement for suitcases or boxes. All transport is at 150 m (trams and buses, the metro is an 8-minute walk or 3 minutes by tram) and the center of Jette, with all shops, is at 250 m. All communal areas - kitchen, bathrooms, toilets , hall, stairs, patio table... - are cleaned weekly.
