You will share kitchen, 1 full shower bath, 1 separate toilet, saloon with big screen, eating room with large table, laundry, bike storage, cellar storage (if needed), a nice outdoor patio/garden space in a house on a quiet street in Heverlee. You will share the space with me and my 3 older (senior) dogs who are well-disciplined, kind and affectionate. You will tolerate the stray dog hair here and there, but the house is kept neat and tidy. A cleaning lady comes once a week, and I vacuum the other days! I work from home 2-3 days, and the house is generally quiet and so is the neighborhood.

You are ideally a non-smoking person who will tolerate that the house is vegetarian.

Spar is 5 minutes by foot, as is the Heverleebos. Centre Leuven is a quick 13-minute bike ride, 20-min by No. 2 bus.

You can store your bike inside. Free off-street parking for your car. NO smoking inside. Languages EN, FR, ES, NL. Not for domicile, preferably. Price is all in and includes cleaning of common area, cleaning supplies and incidentals (soap, toilette paper), internet, heat (gas), cooking (gas hob and electric oven), diswasher, laundry machines, water, electricity, pmd/restafval, etc.

I am a very busy/active person, but really enjoy quiet time at home. I hope we can cook together from time to time, share a laugh, a beer, a meal, but also you should be independent and respect that in others.

Personal space

1 room is empty - you bring your own furniture. Cozy room on the top floor of the house. In room sink. Share full bath on 1st floor.
2nd room is (mostly) furnished with a queen size bed, sofa, desk, chair (no wardrobe for now, in progress).

And, YES, if you have a dog (even a dog-friendly cat) - he/she is also most WELCOME !

I am what might be considered a 50% introvert - very much liking quiet times with a book or a movie. I work hard, participate in activities like learning languages, salsa dancing, going swimming, taking a fitness class. English is my native tongue, but enjoy trying languages and am somewhat adept at French, Spanish and Dutch. Vegan/vegetarian - but not pushing this on anyone. Just understand it will be difficult if you are a heavy meat eater... no problem that you have the occasional meat or cheese.. but the cooking odors will be problematic. Non smoker, I don't use drugs. You shouldn't use in either in the house. I am a pretty tolerate person and will respect your boundaries - you should be similar in that regard. The dogs are clean, not stinky, but this is their house too, so they will be wandering around, sleeping on the sofa, curious to see you - you can, of course, prevent them from entering your space.. or perhaps you would like a cuddle ? You need do nothing with the dogs, but, of course, are welcome to join us in a walk!

It is a pretty quiet house. I hope you will change that (a little)! We can, from time to time, share a laugh, a beer, a meal, perhaps cook together or take the dogs for a walk. We will have very independent times and lives, and we respect that in each other. Normal social skills, not overly friendly nor overly quiet, just a balanced sense of being and tolerate and respectful of all people and creatures - regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religious preference, ... or breed !
